Of course our goal is to be on this list. But, because we are new and have not built any “Authority” yet, it is understandable why we are not on this list.

However, we can study this list and figure out why they are on the list and what we need to do to get on this list.

The following list of the best parenting websites and blogs have found a way to crunch all the important information for parents.

It’s not easy to run one of the best parenting websites online. I run a lackluster website and it’s hard damn work. I can’t imagine how much effort goes into a website for real!!!

Keeping up to date on the constantly changing information, facts, research and studies about kids and parenting is a thankless job plus add in all the fads, trends, crazy news stories and it takes a huge staff to keep it all flowing on the daily. The following parenting websites and blogs have found a way to crunch all the information together and present it to busy parents. I thank thee.

Here’s my list of the best parenting websites and blogs online today. I’ve broken the parenting website list down into two categories. The serious websites and the not-so-serious website. You’re smart enough to understand the difference. At least I hope so, for your kid’s sake.

And now the best parenting websites and blogs that don’t always take the job too seriously

Funniest Parenting Websites & Blogs

The Bloggess.com — Jenny (The Bloggess) has been blogging about her strange little life for almost a decade.  Her website is mainly dark humor mixed with brutally honest periods of mental illness.  She’s also a best selling author and one of the funniest moms/humans on Earth. When she talks about being a mom, it’s one of the best parenting websites going. When she doesn’t, it’s still hilarious.

Moms Who Drink And Swear — Not a blog about drinking and swearing or parenting (although Nikki writes about all three of these things), Moms Who Drink And Swear is a platform for words and ideas that empower people to be genuine, to crush stigma, and to increase awareness and acceptance. Nikki want everyone to talk about everyf*ckingthing. She realizes the title of the blog is weird and misleading. Get over it.

Massholemommy.com — Product reviews and stories about life as a Massachusetts mommy.

Scarymommy.com — What started as an innocent on-line baby book in early 2008 to chronicle Jill Smokler’s stay-at-home days with her children, quickly transformed into a vibrant community of parents, brought together by a common theme: Parenting doesn’t have to be perfect.

The idea was to document the way my wife and I “Parent Differently”, a tag I use from time to time around here. Since that modest blogging birth, OWTK has grown into a recognized and oft quoted voice in the kindie rock music world, and, occasionally, in the kid’s theater, literature and toy worlds…and my family has grown to include a 2nd child (The Mouse.) I am kid’s music’s toughest critic and most fearless champion.”
